About OkoTeq Designs
I am Okong'o Ouma, the software developer behind OkoTeq Designs, based in Nairobi. I build the websites, brands and business systems on this site myself, so when you get in touch, you are talking directly to the person doing the work.
Our vision
To make every business go digital.
Our mission
To help every business get access to the online market, with ease and professionally, through websites and systems that fit the way Kenyan businesses actually work.
How we do our work
A simple, direct process from first message to a system you can run your business on.
1. Understand your business
We talk through what you sell, how customers reach you and where the manual work is slowing you down.
2. Design and build
You see drafts as the work progresses, so there are no surprises when the site or system is ready.
3. Launch and train
We go live together, and I show you and your staff how to use everything on day one.
4. Support after launch
Two years of free maintenance and direct WhatsApp support, so help is never far away.
Frequently asked questions
Who will actually build my project?
I do, personally. OkoTeq Designs is me, Okong'o Ouma, so you work directly with the person designing and building your site, not a call centre or a rotating team.
Do you only work with businesses in Nairobi?
No. I'm based in Nairobi but work remotely with clients in Kisumu and across Kenya, using WhatsApp and calls to plan, review and launch a project.
Who owns the website once it's finished?
You do. The domain, design and content are yours, and I hand over full access at the end of the project.
How do we communicate while the project is in progress?
Mainly over WhatsApp, with calls when something needs more detail. You see drafts as the work progresses, so there are no surprises at the end.
What happens if I'm not happy with the first draft?
We revise it together until it's right. The design and build steps are collaborative, not a one-shot delivery.
Can I see more examples of your work?
Yes. Check out our portfolio for CareFlow, Chama Pro and our design work.
